Adam James Townsend a.k.a The Unexpectable is a 28 year old rapper/lyricist from Salford Manchester. Adam has been developing his writing and rapping skills since the age of 12. He is a very determined and ambitious person who believes you get out of something exactly what you put in.

Adam has been musically influenced by such Hip Hop great as... KRS ONE, Big L, Lord finesse, NAS, DJ Premier, Big Daddy Kane, Derek B, Eric B & Rakim, EPMD, DAS EFX, Hijack, Gunshot, Red Venom, Silver Bullet, Rodney P, Black Twang.

By the age of 18 it could clearly be seen that The Unexpectable was begining to become a force to be reckoned with. His lyric writing and delivery is second to none. Adam writes about current affairs, though tries not to be political and most of all he writes about things pertaining to his day to day life and whats happening around him.

Adam has had the pleasure of supporting such Hip Hop greats as... Grandmaster Flash, Mad Skills, Jeru The Damaja, Supernatural, J-Live and platinum award artist T-Pain. The goals and ambitions of The Unexpectable is to be a successful and accomplished musician/rapper and a good role model for the up and coming youths of today.

The Unexpectable's debut album "The Great White Hope" was released on 14th September 2009 on Coolshade Records. The "Who Dat?" single was released on the 1st August 2009 and is taken from the album "The Great White Hope" released on Coolshade Records.
