Trip
biographyAfter the success of "The Heavies" live project with Nicky Blackmarket, Killa Kela, Plus1 (Scratch Perverts) and The Jungle Drummer, aged just 17, Trip continued working with Nicky Blackmarket from 1999 onwards. As his reputation grew, work with both the legendary Scratch Perverts and the Mixologists soon followed. Trip travelled the world, touring across America, Canada, Australia and Russia, accompanying Goldie, Grooverider, Shy FX, Mampi Swift, DJ SS, DJ Hype and Bassline Smith etc, along with his sparring partners for the tour; Skibadee and Dynamite. Trip also worked with the likes of Killa Kela and Spit Kingdom, combining Hip-Hop and Drum and Bass in their live performance, which led to him supporting artists including Redman, N.E.R.D., Outkast, Busta Rhymes (2 shows at Wembley Arena) and Public Enemy etc. Trip has performed at numerous events and festivals including One Nation, Global Gathering, the Reading and Leeds festivals, Glastonbury, Creamfields and a residency at Fabric. Following a break from the Drum and Bass circuit while concentrating on his solo project, Trip is set to return with a vengeance in 2008 with his clinically tight rhyming and diverse flows once again ready to take the scene by storm. |
