36th Chamber - MC 'Smoothie' has been resident MC for the Newbury based movement since 2005, MCing regularly with names such as DJ Vapour. Beginning his writing in '98 with inspiration from a range of names such as Phi Life Cypher, Eminem, Stevie-Hyper and Nu Breed, Smoothie has developed a versatile style that compliments the music the way an MC should.

Supporting various DJs On the scene 2005 to the present date has seen Smoothie representing at various nights throughout the country including: o Subconscious in Southampton o Street Rollers in London o Drop Beats not Bombs in Birmingham o Socialism in London o Soundscape in Manchester o Kombination Funk in Nottingham o Signal in Bristol o Flava's in Durham o Ox4 in Oxford o Phixation in bristol

...Plus many more whilst representing weekly down at the 36th Chamber sessions. Not being one to rely purly on live performance in nightclubs Mc Smoothie has clocked up many hours on the Radio waves with apperances on o Kool fm o Drum n bass worldwide o Rapture fm o Pure fm o Blast fm o Intense radio o Jungle sound radio

Continuing Success

Progressing through the scene, Smoothie has been working on various other projects within the studio and is due to release work on the 36th Chamber label. Recent studio work has seen him assist in the recent remix of '4 Hero - Mr Kirk's Nightmare' by the Mysterons (DJ Randall and Vapour).

Another recent accolade is being awarded with the "Mc of the issue" award by knowledge magazine in oct 2007

With this MC tearing up various nights as far as Europe and working on various projects within the studio, 'MC Smoothie' is a name to look out for in 2008!
