Jack Sparrow
biographyJack Sparrow has made appearances on Contagious, Earwax, and Tectonic recordings over the past four years. A particular triumph was his remix of Pinch ft. Yoloanda 'Get Up', which was a public favourite and recognised as dubstep tune of the month by Mixmag Magazine (Dec 2009). Jack Sparrow's fourth single was released in March on the much respected Tectonic label, the highly anticipated album is due to drop later this year. Some of Jack Sparrows most significant performances have included the seminal DMZ in both London and Leeds, representing Tectonic at Outlook, and Fabriclive 2010. He was invited to mix for Mary Anne Hobbs on her iconic BBC Radio 1 show last July, they also played together in January at Capital Bass Russia. Jack Sparrow is a resident at Outlook Festival, Croatia, Europe's largest bass culture & dubstep festival. This role also involves organising and playing at a sequence of launch parties throughout Europe this summer. Jack Sparrow has played extensively in Europe and USA. In the past 12 months international venues have included; Poland, Croatia, Glasgow, Paris, Prague, Switzerland, Norway, Moscow, Belguim, Tilburg and Amsterdam. Working extensively in the UK and abroad has developed a large and supportive fanbase. Jack Sparrow's varied and inspired releases have earned him the reputation as a highly talented, versatile, progressive, dynamic and exciting producer. |
